In a pretty scary collision Saturday night, Detroit Pistons' center Andre Drummond was hit in the top of the head by the body of Indiana Pacers' center Roy Hibbert when both players were attempting to secure a loose ball. Drummond immediately started grabbing the top of his head when he and Hibbert collided and the team had to call a timeout so the training staff could tend to their center.
Drummond was on the floor for several minutes before being helped off the court by the training staff. He will not return to the game, according to the Pistons.
.@AndreDrummondd will not return to tonight's game. He will undergo further testing on his neck injury.
