The Jaguars reportedly don't plan on cutting Justin Blackmon yet. (USATSI)
More NFL offseason: League minicamp dates | Latest news, notes
The Jaguars don't expect much from wideout Justin Blackmon in 2014 but that doesn't mean they're setting him loose.
Blackmon was suspended indefinitely back in November of 2013 and GM Dave Caldwell isn't banking on any contribution from the former first-round pick in 2014, but Ed Werder of ESPN reports the Jags don't intend to cut Blackmon if and when he's reinstated by the league.
Taken with the fifth-overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, Blackmon's had a rough go of things. He was arrested for DUI just months after the Jaguars selected him and eventually pled guilty.
Blackmon received a four-game suspension from the NFL before the start of the 2013 season.
He returned in October, caught 29 passes for 415 yards in four games (!) and was promptly suspended for the remainder of 2013.
Such is the the good and bad of the former Oklahoma State standout.
It's why Jacksonville isn't giving up hope on him just yet, the fact that Blackmon doesn't cost them anything (either in terms of a roster spot or financially because of his status with the league) notwithstanding.
Jacksonville's second-round activity in 2014 -- drafting Marqise Lee and Allen Robinson -- should tell you what you need to know about Blackmon's long-term future with the organization though.

Dolphins RB Knowshon Moreno seeing more reps with the second team offense
According to Miami Herald reporter Armando Salguero, Knowshon Moreno has been "primarily" working with the second team offense in opening OTAs as his conditioning defniitly needs major improvement. Lamar Miller has been taking a lot of first team reps while Coach Joe Philbin indicated that Moreno's conditioning "could be better."
I loved Lamar Miller going in to last seasons fantasy campaign and this makes me very excited because Miller is a player who can hit the edge with speed and can run between the tackles with power. He didn't get many chances last season but going into his 3rd year of a 4 year contract we could be in for a show. Keep this guy on your fantasy radar moving towards draft day as Lamar Miller could easily be this years running back steal as Knowson continues this poor work ethic.
