Roddy White plans on playing this Sunday against the Vikings. (USATSI) Roddy White plans on playing this Sunday against the Vikings. (USATSI)

The Falcons didn't have Roddy White last week in their victory against Tampa Bay -- not that they needed him -- but the wide receiver should be back this week for Sunday's game in Minnesota.

White was asked on Thursday if he plans on playing against the Vikings, and he said he's "ready to roll."

"I feel good," White said, via the Falcons official website. "If I didn't, then I wouldn't be talking to y'all right now. But yeah, I feel good. It was kind of frustrating going out there and watching (vs. Tampa). Every time I watch a football game from the sideline, I'm kind of frustrated not being out there with my teammates, but I'm ready to roll."

The game against the Buccaneers was only the fourth that White has missed in his 10-year career. Since being drafted 27th overall in 2005, White has played in 143 of 147 games for the Falcons. However, the four games White has missed have all come since the beginning of last season.

White has gotten some time to rehabilitate his hamstring, though. By the time the Falcons kick off against the Vikings on Sunday, White will have had two weeks to rest his injury. The Falcons receiver hasn't been on the field since Atlanta's 24-10 loss to Cincinnati on Sept. 14.

Raiders RB Maurice Jones-Drew expects to play this week

After missing two games following hand surgery, Maurice Jones-Drew has returned to practice and is ready to play Sunday. When asked if he will play Sunday against the Dolphins, he said, "Yeah, definitely, It's not up to me but I feel like I'll be able to play." If given clearance, he'll return to split carries with Darren McFadden.

He should be cleared, but it's difficult to know if the Raiders will ease him back into the fold with limited snaps. If Jones-Drew does play, he'll be no more than an RB3 option but one with RB2 upside. The Chiefs' Knile Davis was able to gash the Dolphins last week for 132 yards and a TD, which gives MJD's fantasy outlook a little hope.
