Titans RB Shonn Greene arrested for fleeing a parking ticket
Tennessee Titans beat writer Jim Wyatt reports that running back Shonn Greene was arrested Friday night for refusing to stop for a police officer. The officer was issuing Greene a ticket for parking in a handicap parking spot, and Greene got in his car and left the scene. He was later arrested, booked and photographed for his mug shot.Greene has missed the last two games with a hamstring injury. His run-in with the law is unlikely to affect his status for the Titans' Week 8 game with Houston.
All trends are heading in the direction of rookie Bishop Sankey taking the starting running back job in Tennessee full-time. He's younger, quicker, and now it appears he's less prone than Greene to ignorant decisions that land him in jail. We won't get into the societal aspect of this story other than to just say it's pathetic.From a fantasy perspective, it doesn't change much. As long as the Titans keep him around, Greene is a handcuff to Sankey at this point.
