Prince Amukamara is now a married man with all the benefits. (USATSI) Prince Amukamara is now a married man with all the benefits. (USATSI)

If you're a first-round pick that hasn't had the greatest beginning to your career, Giants safety Antrel Rolle thinks there's one surefire way to improve you performance. If your name is Prince Amukamara, anyway.

Sex. And plenty of it.

"There are a lot of things different about Prince," Rolle said, via the Newark Star Ledger. "For one, he's married, so he's (enjoying some things that he wasn't experiencing before he's married). For a man, that could definitely help him out. For a man ... I'm just being honest ... it's helping him out. He walks around with a little more swagger, which is something that we need, which is something that we love."

As the newspaper points out, Amukamara is a devout Christian who abstained from pre-marital sex. In Rolle's eyes, I suppose, that made him swagger-less.

But he's off the singles market, and now, you have to admit that Amukamara is playing the best football of his NFL career.

Taken No. 19 overall in 2011, Amukamara has spent his career struggling through injuries and inconsistencies, combining for only three interceptions in his first three seasons. But this season, he's already nabbed a career-high two picks. Maybe getting married is one reason why.

"I think it all ties into one another, as far as him getting married, being able to [have sex]," Rolle said. "He's just developing more as a man and accepting challenges and being the dominant player that we need him to be that we know he's capable of."

Naturally, Amukamara had to address his newfound status Thursday.

And take it to the next level:

Meanwhile, Mrs. Amukamara is taking it all in stride:

Tim Tebow perhaps should have taken notes.

Bears WR Brandon Marshall practices fully Wednesday

It seems like Brandon Marshall has turned a corner with the ankle injury that has been bothering him since Week 1. Specifically, he went through full practice today, according to Rich Campbell of the Chicago Tribune.

Marshall must feel better than he looked Sunday against the Packers. Although he didn't reinjure the ankle as he did in Week 3, Marshall also didn't look completely right. He caught only two passes on six targets and bailed his owners out with a short touchdown. But for him to be practicing fully this early in the week is tremendous news for his value this week and going forward. Barring a setback, get ready to fire up Marshall at Carolina.
