Report: Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch almost didn't get on team bus after hearing of Percy Harvin trade
The initial emotion conveyed by the football world upon hearing word of the Percy Harvin trade was largely shock. The initial emotion of those inside the Seahawks' locker room had to be largely the same. Running back Marshawn Lynch was certainly shocked. And very, very angry.A source told the New York Daily News' Manish Mehta that Harvin's newly former teammates were told about the deal as they boarded the team bus bound for the airport to travel to St. Louis for Sunday's game. When Lynch heard the news, he reportedly got off the bus and "almost" didn't get back on.
The key word being "almost." Lynch made the trip, and he'll play his normal role tomorrow. After offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell admitted earlier this week that he made a mistake in giving Lynch only 10 carries in a home loss to Dallas, I expect a major correction, especially since the Harvin trade makes Seattle's offense more one-dimensional. I think Beast Mode will take his rage out on the Rams.
