Texans RB Arian Foster (groin) to be game-time decision in Week 12
Houston Texans beat writer Brian T. Smith reported Thursday that head coach Bill O'Brien is considering running back Arian Foster (groin) a game-time decision for Sunday's tilt with Cincinnati. After being listed as "limited" in Wednesday's practice, Foster missed Thursday session.Foster missed last week's game as well. Alfred Blue filled in for Foster, running for 156 yards on 36 carries. Should the stud RB miss Sunday's game, Blue would again be the go-to guy.
It may not take 36 carries to get to 156 yards this week. The Bengals have allowed the most total fantasy points in PPR formats to opposing running backs over the past five weeks. If Foster is a go, he's probably pushing top-five territory this week. If not, Blue is still a borderline RB1. If you have either of these guys rostered, monitor this situation up until the time inactives are announced at about 11:30 a.m. Eastern on Sunday. Whichever back gets the start is sure to have a solid fantasy day.
