Redskins WR DeSean Jackson not likely to play Week 14
Dianna Marie Russini, host of "Redskins Showtime," is reporting that Washington is planning to play without wide receiver DeSean Jackson in their Week 14 game with the St. Louis Rams. Jackson is dealing with a bruised fibula that has kept him out of practice all week.
The Rams, just like everyone else this season, manhandled the Raiders in Week 13 to the tune of a 52-0 shellacking. Despite the shutout, the Rams still allow the fifth-most fantasy points to wide receivers. With Jackson out, this should be a week in which WR Pierre Garcon can actually do something. Unfortunately for Garcon owners, it may be too late if you drafted him as your top receiver this season. Regardless, he and TE Jordan Reed should both see plenty of action and have productive fantasy games this week. I'd feel comfortable starting either of them.
