Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant could soon be a part-owner of Italian soccer team FC Bologna 1909. The Los Angeles Times cited a La Gazzetta report indicating that attorney Joe Tacopina is trying to make a bid for the club with Bryant and Montreal Impact owner Joey Saputo included in his potential ownership group. Tacopina is reportedly scheduled to meet with current Bologna owner Albano Guaraldi next week.

Bryant played soccer as a kid living in Italy while his father played professional basketball there, and he has spoken publicly numerous times about his love of the sport. He has two years and $48.5 million left on his contract with the Lakers.

L.A. Clippers top 10 plays of the 2013-14 season

You may or may not be a fan of the Clippers in terms of caring about their wins and losses. But they’re undoubtedly one of the top teams in the league when it comes to their sheer volume of ridiculous highlight plays.

This compilation features plenty of Chris Paul and Blake Griffin doing what they do best, which is using their unmatched skill and incredible athleticism to make the defense look foolish. And while I disagree with the halfcourt-plus shots ranking so high on the list (because they’re more luck than skill), it’s tough to argue with the dunk from Griffin that earned the top spot.
