The NFL is still waiting to announce a location for the 2015 NFL Draft but it's reportedly locked down a date.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the 2015 NFL Draft will take place from April 30 through May 2.

The league is still deciding between Los Angeles and Chicago as possible locations (assuming it picks just one) for the draft, but we now know the date and, presumably, the time.

The NFL moved the draft into May for the first time ever and to no one's surprise, saw an increase in ratings.

It has little to do with the day, month, time, location or any factor outside of the insatiable consumer lust for more football. But increased ratings are increased ratings and the NFL likes to try and own every month of the year if possible.

Start targeting the first weekend in May for future drafts. The time looks locked. Now we just need to figure out the where portion of things.

Bengals WR Marvin Jones tweaks ankle, doesn't practice Wednesday

There must be some sort of mysterious, invisible force that doesn't want Bengals wide receiver Marvin Jones to play football this season.First, an ankle injury forced him to miss the start of training camp. Then, a few days after being given the green light to practice, Jones broke his left foot, which required surgery. At long last, he was expected to make his season debut this Sunday night against the Patriots, but Jones missed today's practice after tweaking his ankle.

Jeez. Maybe Jones heals quickly, but odds are he will probably miss yet another week. The 3-0 Bengals don't need to rush him back. Jones remains a very interesting stash or low-cost trade target after scoring 10 touchdowns last season while playing less than half of the snaps. Assuming his latest injury is only a tweak, Jones should finally be on the field relatively soon. But he needs to stop walking underneath ladders.
