Should Justin Bieber get all of the blame? Or just most of it? (Twitter)
The Steelers surprisingly lost to the Jets on Sunday, and I'm pretty sure everybody blamed the game on one person alone.
Forget about the fact that Ben Roethlisberger threw two interceptions or that the Steelers lost two fumbles or that the defense allowed a one-win Jets offense to score 20 points. No, the real villain for Pittsburgh was Justin Bieber (and I don't know anyone sane who would disagree).
Remember, it was Bieber who strangely showed up at Steelers bible study on Saturday night to meet with players and to take pictures looking like he badly had to use the toilet. The next day, the Steelers looked awful.
Coincidence? I don't see how.
But Roethlisberger isn't buying the near-universal theory.
"That's not a big deal at all," Roethlisberger said on 93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh, via ESPN.com. "For instance, [former Steelers wide receiver] Plaxico Burress stopped by. Obviously he's family, but people stop by all of the time and say, 'Hi,' and we've had other athletes, actors, celebrities, stuff like that stop by. It's not a big deal at all."
Wait a minute. Bieber AND Burress were there at the same time?!? Unlike Roethlisberger's last sentence, that might be the biggest deal of all.
And remember, the Steelers were all so excited to snap photos with Bieber.
Didn't know he was a steelers fan, but welcome to steelernation @justinbieber pic.twitter.com/5Fktaq329D

It only seems fair that the blame for Pittsburgh's performance will continue to rain down on Bieber and Bieber alone. And maybe Burress.

Broncos RB Montee Ball loses 12 pounds, impresses during Week 10 practice
The potential for Broncos running back Montee Ball to get back to being involved and potentially even regain his starting role is present as the team seems happy with the work he's done to get in better shape while he's been out. He is expected to be active for the team's Week 10 game versus the Raiders. Ball has lost 12 pounds while he's been out nursing a groin injury since Week 5. Head coach John Fox took note of the improved shape Ball is in."He reshaped his body a bit," Fox said. "He did have an earlier issue with an appendectomy. He's had some time here to get back to the weight and condition where he wanted to be, and that's been a positive."
With RB Ronnie Hillman only gaining 16 yards on 10 carries last week, the Broncos want to make sure to leave that door open for Ball to come back. Keeping in mind that Ball was the favored runner in the preseason and has lost the weight, which should help his speed and quickness, it's extremely likely that this turns into a full-fledged committee sooner rather than later.Hillman is still the favored runner for fantasy this week, but don't be surprised if Ball sees a fair share of carries. If he performs well, he could eventually regain his starting job.
