Buccaneers officially activate RB Charles Sims from injured reserve
As expected, the Buccaneers activated rookie running back Charles Sims from short-term injured reserve Saturday, and he will be available to play Sunday against Cleveland. He has been out of action since undergoing ankle surgery in August and resumed practicing last week. With Doug Martin listed as doubtful, Sims may assume a backup role behind Bobby Rainey in Week 9.
You can read what I wrote last night about Sims' fantasy impact here. Simply, if you are planning to start Sims this week, you are either in a 20-team league, have massive bye-week problems or injuries at RB, and/or you are expecting way too much too soon.
