Charlotte Hornets guard Lance Stephenson has been in the doghouse to a degree. He's really struggled to learn his place in the offense and has looked lost and impatient at times. But in a double-overtime thriller vs. the Atlanta Hawks Friday, Stephenson wound up making one of the biggest plays of the Hornets' early season.
They don' call him Born Ready... OK, they didn't call him Born Ready in high school for nothing.
Huge win for the Hornets, who seem to have improved with every game.

The Hawks pushed the Hornets to double-overtime in Charlotte on Friday, before Lance Stephenson ended it with a single (lucky) shot.
It wasn’t perfect, but it counts just the same. Stephenson finished with 17 points and 13 rebounds, and maybe this will help him begin to find his rhythm within his new team’s offense.
