Report: Utah’s Alec Burks won’t need surgery, could return in 2 weeks
Arron Afflalo was ejected for committing a flagrant-two foul on Alec Burks earlier this week, and was later fined $15,000 by the league for making the dangerous play.
Burks reaggravated a previous shoulder injury on the play, and hasn’t played since taking the hard fall.
One report suggested that Burks would need surgery and could be lost for the season, but the always reliable Adrian Wojnarowski reports that (thankfully) Burks should return much sooner.

After playing in a reserve role for the bulk of last season, Burks has started in all 18 of his appearances this year, and is averaging 13.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 33.7 minutes per game this season.
