The Warriors have quickly gone from dangerous playoff team to possibly an easy first round out.
The team announced late Monday defensive anchor Andrew Bogut is out indefinitely because of a fractured rib. His timetable is unknown, hence indefinitely.
The injury happened in the fourth quarter of Sunday's overtime loss to the Blazers.
The Warriors are also missing forward David Lee, who is listed out indefinitely with a hamstring injury. Which means the Warriors will likely enter the postseason without their starting front line in a potential matchup against formidable interior duo of Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan.
Bogut, 29, has dealt with injuries the past few seasons, but has missed just 13 games so far this season for the Warriors. With him in the defensive interior, the Warriors are a much better team (allow just 98.8 points per 100 possessions with him on the floor, 100.5 with him off).
In 67 games this season, Bogut is averaging 7.3 points, 10.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.81 blocks in 26.4 minutes, while shooting 62.7 percent from the floor.

League makes it official, DeMarcus Cousins suspended for Kings’ final game
DeMarcus Cousins will be starting his offseason early.
As PBT told you, Cousins picked up a technical Sunday in a game against Minnesota, Cousins’ 16th of the season. That’s the magic number — get to 16 and you get suspended for a game.
Monday the league upheld Cousins’ suspension and he will sit out the Kings’ season finale Sunday against the Suns. That could matter because if the Suns beat Grizzlies on Monday the Suns could still make the playoffs with a win Wednesday night over the Kings (and a Mavericks win over the Grizzlies that same night).
On the whole Cousins has done better this season at not losing his temper and keeping his composure when players or officials get under his skin, but it’s still safe to call that a work in progress.
You can see the last technical Cousins’ got at the 1:24 mark of the video below.
