When the Kansas City Chiefs kicked off rookie minicamp on Saturday, they did it with all six of their draft picks officially under contract. First-round pick Dee Ford, the last unsigned member of the Chiefs' 2014 class, signed on Saturday, the team announced.

The 23rd overall pick signed a four-year deal with a team-option for a fifth year. The fully guaranteed $8.16 million contract includes a $4.25 million signing bonus.

Playing behind Pro Bowlers Tamba Hali and Justin Houston, Ford isn't expected to get a lot of snaps during his rookie season, but he should be able to contribute right away in pass-rush situations.

CBSSports.com senior writer Pete Prisco gave the Ford pick a C- due to the fact that Ford will likely be serving as a backup in 2014. Chiefs general manager John Dorsey explained the Ford pick this week by pointing out, "You can't ever have enough good pass-rushers."

Ford totaled 10.5 sacks at Auburn in 2013 despite missing the first two games with a sprained knee.

Texans RB Arian Foster says he is 'raring to go'

Texans running back Arian Foster told John McClain of the Houston Chronicle on Wednesday that he is "healthy and raring to go" for the new season under the team's new staff.Foster said in March that he had been medically cleared for football activities following November back surgery. He took part in the team's voluntary mini-camp earlier this month.

By now, I've said my piece on Foster plenty. Specifically, I've said it here, here, and here. A quick summary: Foster will be given plenty of touches this season, and I totally understand anyone who wants to use a first-round pick on him. When you do, understand the injury risk Foster comes with as well.
