Is it a ‘rivalry’ with Patriots if Jets can’t spell it?

The Jets are pretty excited about their Thursday night game against New England and we know they're excited because they made a 72-second hype video telling us how excited they are about the team's rivalry with the Patriots.

As you can see at the top of the page though, someone in the proofing department got a little too excited. For the record, 'rivarly' isn't actually a word. But it could be one now if we want it to be. Maybe it could be a synonym buttfumble?

Anyway, the Jets eventually noticed the mistake and they actually had a sense of humor about it.

Speaking of the buttfumble though, the Jets might not have a sense of humor about the fact that the Patriots tweeted out a picture of that game for Throwback Thursday.

With all this trash-talking, this figures to be a hot 'rivarly' game, so make sure to turn your television to CBS by 8:25 p.m. ET on Thursday to catch the kickoff.

Cowboys RB Joseph Randle arrested for shoplifting cologne, underwear



Beating the Seahawks in Seattle is a huge accomplishment in the NFL. That doesn't mean you are now allowed to steal stuff from a department store.According to police in Frisco, Texas, that's what Cowboys backup running back Joseph Randle attempted to do Monday night. He allegedly tried to steal a tester bottle of cologne and two pairs of underwear from a Dillard's. He was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor and later posted bail.Randle was at the Cowboys' facility Tuesday but did not speak to the media, and head coach Jason Garrett would not comment on the matter. Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports, via a source, that Randle will be fined but not suspended by the team.Randle gained 52 yards on five carries in Sunday's victory over the reigning Super Bowl champs.



Randle is making a base salary of $495,000 this season, so you can totally understand how he couldn't afford to pay for items that were estimated to cost about $120 collectively. Anything to smell good while in some comfy undies.This will likely have no impact on Randle's role with the Cowboys, but it has created some awesome .gifs and memes. He remains DeMarco Murray's handcuff.
