Chargers WR Keenan Allen gets in full practice Friday-officially 'probable'
Beat writer Michael Gehlken, via his Twitter account, reported that San Diego Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen (groin) was a full participant in Friday's practice. It appears he'll be good to go for the team's Week 6 game at Oakland.Allen has team-high 25 catches for 269 yards, on a team-high 36 targets. He has yet to find the end zone in 2014.
Despite what the stats say, Allen is far and away the best receiver for the Chargers. QB Philip Rivers has been spreading the ball around about as evenly as one can. Four different San Diego pass-catchers have over 250 yards receiving-Allen, WR Eddie Royal (279), TE Antonio Gates (276) and WR Malcolm Floyd (259). A healthy and active Keenan Allen is a solid WR2 option against a Raiders team he scored on twice last season.
