Washington got the full 'South Park' treatment. (South Park Studios)
Matt Stone and Trey Parker of South Park rarely pull punches and they certainly didn't during Wednesday's premiere focusing on the Redskins nickname and the NFL's recent struggles with managing domestic violence.
The gist of the episode -- watch it in full right here; some portions may be NSFW -- centered on the Redskins recent loss of their trademarked name, with Cartman and crew creating a company that does nothing but take money on Kickstarter. (This felt like a joke centered around the dude who raised a bajillion dollars for making potato salad. Or maybe they're just mocking Kickstarter itself.)
But what made the episode so impressive was their ability to adjust on the fly (as they usually do). Stone and Parker "benched" Robert Griffin III -- originally shown in the promos with Dan Snyder and Jay Gruden -- for Kirk Cousins just like in real life.

Additionally, it sure sounded like they changed the episode to include actual sound from Roger Goodell's infamous press conference last Friday when they mocked Goodell for being a bit robotic.
Or just a full-blown robot for the owners. At one point on Wednesday night the hashtag "GoodellBot" was trending on Twitter.
Not content to just go after the Redskins for their name, South Park also attacked the NFL's recent issues with domestic violence, including a very specific reference to an elevator.

Again, the whole episode is worth watching.
NFL Hot News
Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill will start Sunday
Ryan Tannehill will start for the Dolphins again on Sunday, according to NFL Network's Jeff Darlington. This follows a Monday report that the Dolphins' coaching staff had met with Tannehill to discuss his starting role. Tannehill took every rep with the first-team offense during Tuesday's practice
Tannehill is on the hot seat but still has his job for now. He's struggled through three games, completing just 70 of 124 attempts (56.5 percent) for 624 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions. He's also had two fumbles and has been sacked nine times. Tannehill should not be owned in fantasy except in two-QB leagues, and he's a mediocre play at best there. He'll try to turn things around this weekend in London against a Raiders defense that's easier to run on than to throw against. The Raiders are allowing just 183.3 passing yards per game in 2014.
